Divergent/ book recomendation
The book divergent is a great read so far. I love how in depth everything is, the characters are very detailed, and the book is easy to understand. The author did a great job on character development. I can feel the stress and pain in her thoughts and voice. I understand her traits, likes and dislikes. Many cool things are presented in the book, like factions, and different classes. Her brother is a big part in the book so far. I feel like he will be a huge contribution to the overall mood, and theme of the book. He shows the contrast and similarities of the main character. All that I can say is that I have not read very much of the book, but I am super hooked, I love the book, I just wish i could read it more. Please read this book, you will not regret it!

divergent/character
When the book started, she always thought she would just end up being in the class called abnegation, they were the leaders of the city, but were selfless. She finds out that there is a chance that there are multiple classes to choose from to go into. She is having a self to self conflict right now, and a little bit of a self to community. First with the self to community, she has to make a decision that will change her life forever. The community makes her do that. If she makes the choice to go to abnegation then her parents would be happy and she might not be, but if she goes to dauntless (the defenders of the city) she might be happier but her parents would be so sad. Her self to self problem is her choosing this class. Am I going to choose dauntless or abnegation? This has been eating at her all day. Should I be selfless and go to abnegation? Should I be rambunctious and go to dauntless? If it is eating at her this much then she should go to abnegation, because it is a selfless act to do something not for yourself but for your family instead.

divergent/ expectations
I am always saying that I hate reading, but really it is just when it is a bad book. I have found out that when I love a book, I constantly read it. with divergent I hope it has these things put into it, if it does, it will definitely get me hooked quick. the first thing is good character development. I hate it when a story is so great, but you know almost nothing about the character you have been reading about. the next thing is an action scene in it somewhere. I love reading those in my head and making them sound all fast paced. I only need one of those. I hope it is a little like hunger games. that is probably my favorite book of all time. there was action, great character development and overall it was a fun read. I think Divergent will get there soon. I am just not far enough along to get hooked yet!
divergent/ reading skills
I have just started reading divergent, so far it is very interesting. I don't understand some of the things in it though, like the different factions. what is the difference between them? I now know that they have specific traits as a faction which you need to live by. also, when they are sixteen, they do this testing thing, where they find out where they would fit best. now what I don't understand is the fact that after they take this testing, they get to decide what faction to be in anyway. the character in this book has turned out not to fit into a faction. my guess is that she will have to go through more trials and maybe some pain, and other crazy stuff just so they can try to fit her in a group. maybe a something like hunger games. in a way in divergent she has been "selected" sort of by herself. in the hunger games she was selected to be in the Hunger Games. it sounds kind of alike. I can kind of connect with this character because at times I feel kind of different from everyone, but at the same time I feel like I love it so much. I see everything going on and I feel like a belong, just as she does. well that's all I have for you today. thank you for reading!
